Bright Red Plastics?

Featured Replies

I bought some sweet beavers in the rhythm and blues color. When they're in the water they are bright red. Much brighter than I expected. I've ended up with that color in a couple custom plastics, also. When should I throw that color? Muddy water? Clear? Is it popular in some part of the country? I'm in the ca delta, and my goal this year is to catch fish on lots of the tackle I own but never give a chance. When should I give this color some time?

Thanks in advance.

i catch NOTHING on red lures. doesn't matter what it is from worms to cranks.

I caught a bunch using red and tequila sunrise hook-tail worms a couple years ago on Watts Bar. The water was kinda cloudy and had a definite greenish tint.

My buddy catches fish on red and blue culprit worms in stained water.
