Water sucked and it was hot but I still managed to shoot a couple fish. I started by sticking a big grass carp that pulled off. Then I missed a couple that I could barely see because of the dirty water. Finally got a good look at a little silver carp and ended up doubling but the second one fell off at the boat. Slowed down and managed to sneak up on a decent sized big head.

I motored out of the creek and started going slowly upriver with the big motor to try to get an aerial shot at a silver, something I've never connected on before. Not far up the river a school started jumping so I drew and waited. A decent sized silver jumped and flew straight towards the boat and I whacked him head on!

I shot one more silver that didn't jump but was keeping pace with the boat right below the surface but it tore off also. Got the bigger silver I shot out of the air in a bucket to cut up and use for catfish bait tomorrow, bass fishing is tough but they're biting like crazy I've heard!

Kill em all! I hate those things! Biggest one I have killed so far!

There are some monster big heads in the river but they are hard to get a shot on with the dirty water. All I usually see are the ripples from them filtering right below the surface and sometimes the white of the inside of their mouth. I shot one not quite as big as that one a few years ago, they pull like crazy on a bowfishing rig but they're so soft they seem to pull off alot, not that I really care if I land them, just as long as they don't survive the experience!
