Here is a baby bluegill pattern I just finished...

I fish a clear lake where the bluegill tend to have fairly muted colors ....

You know the bait is a winner when it gets pounded when tuning it. Nice...

Lots of really good gill patterns on this thread. I like the more simple patterns on cranks but I can't argue with how talented you guys are.

The one center right, without the gill plate paint, it could be a smallie pattern. Very nice.

Here are some of the bluegill patterns I have painted over the years. They are more atristic than realistic I think.
