Just a couple of shots from Yesterday. I went to a lake I hadn't been to in a while. I think I'll go back again soon.:D

Deep-fryed bass is sooooo good! The fish in the 2# range are the best, and give you a nice filet!

Nice fish man, just don't keep a real big one. B)

I cut them into smaller chunks and pan fry normally

Why keep bass, sunfish and crappies are better!! Sometimes you have to if you gill em or if all you catch is 1 pound or less dinks. Those look a little nice for me to eat. Of course I am up in the sticks of Minnesota where those fish would be grand elders.

Did you get a new rod? I thought I remembered you having a veritas with your speed spool.

First off they look suprised because I nuck up on them.lol

And yea that big one was 5.1# and it should have gone back... I was so happy to catch it I never thought about it.

I have theown back a 35# flathead before for what its worth.

And yes that is a new R&R = lews TP reel and a 7' micro Kistler.

man hate to see quality fish go that way but its all personal preference i supose!

Fish that size around here would be so full of worms right now it'd look like it was crawling. Plus with water temps in the low 90's it would probably be halfway cooked  .
