I was looking on the fishing trips board and I keep seeing a baby thumper mentioned. What's the baby thumper is it a whole diffrent bait then the thumper or is it a cut down version.

Unlike the Baby Craw, named after it's bigger brother, the 7" Thumper is actually not called a Baby Thumper. Just the 7" or the 10". Both killer baits, though.

I would say you should try it.

how do you guys fish it, weightless? Does it actually make a thumping sound when you retrieve it?

You can fish them anyway, really, but I prefer like any old texas rig, fished slow. The tail gives off a nice vibration on a steady retrieve.

Fat-G it was ur posts that got me looking for them actually I need a few more packs of worms I'm down to 2 anacondas left so I might have to pick up some thumpers as well

Well, I just bought ten more bags of the babys. Found them for a dollar a bag and bought every single one they had in stock.

I will say this, they catch a lot of small fish, but if you put it on a big one's head (haha), she'll nail it.
