Ceiling Fan Pull Baits
Really nice! I have got to do this for my room! Very creative, and also, welcome to the forum! I think you'll fit right in here, amongst people with the very same interest: to catch these amazing green fish that God made to entertain men!

Kinami Baits...
Actually, I have two bags of Kinami 5 inch Flash baits. In the Moss color the worms have a wave logo on them like the Kinami logo, but on the Watermelon Pepper color baits it actually says GYB on the baits, so Gary put senkos into the Kinami bags! But either way, they work the same, just more of personal preference and what brand you like more.

Fishing After Rain
So they can effectively locate a plastic bait after harsh storms? Nice!

Fishing After Rain
Yeah I'm gonna probably try lipless cranks and soft plastic jerkbaits (Super Fluke of course ). Would a Texas rig be useful at all or would it be more hit and miss?

My Biggest Black Crappie
I caught my first a few weeks ago on a Storm Hopper Popper at night on Ultralight. They really seem to like topwaters! But on a full sized Jitterbug??? WOW!

I Want To Write A Book
Write about all of the techniques you're proficient in. Also write about personal experiences with weather, patterns, and all that good stuff. You could also add personal stories and experiences. Talk about some things you enjoy about bass fishing, and try to keep interest. In my opinion, there aren't enough fishing books out there, especially not enough bass fishing books.

Has The Fall Bite Started?
The best part of fall is the weeds dying off. Here in Florida, the weeds get so dense that weedless baits and Texas Rigs pull in forests of weeds.

...another New Guy
Sounds like we've got another one that has been bitten by the Bass bug! Congratulations on beginning this amazing sport!

Plastics In A Plano
Yeah you're probably good. I prefer to just keep them in the original bags though, they're pretty handy, since my clear Plano trays in the bag are almost full with hardbaits!

Cold Front Fish
Well, this ENTIRE labor day weekend was full of storms, and before they started Friday, the temps outside were around high 90s to 100s at times. Now this week, the temps will be in the 80s. How might this effect the bass? Also, the ponds and lake are about 2-3 feet higher. Any advice will be appreciated.

Magic Or Powerbait?
Thanks, I've gotta try out a treble, though the trade-off is the unhooking process when they nearly swallow it.

Fall Baits
What baits do you all use when fall is approaching? What should I stock up on? Any favorite techniques? Thanks, and good luck on the water!

You Guys Ready?
Nice bass thumb Brushhoggin! And I'm definately ready for it too! So tired of this Florida heat and humidity. The fall just feels AMAZING here, and it's so comfortable I could fish for hours and hours! Ahhh... Can't wait

Talking While Fishing
From what I've heard, 99% of sound waves from talking or from regular noise deflect off of the water's surface, and if you're on a boat, and you're stepping lightly and not dropping things, you should be alright. It's not a matter or silence that I think effects my fishing, it's the concentration as others have said. I can concentrate pretty well when I'm fishing with my friends though.

Homemade Flies
What would be a good starting outfit for a 7/8 weight at Bass Pro Shops? Anything by Hobb's Creek good??

Fishing After Rain
I live in Northwest Florida and yesterday it rained HARD. And then it coninued to rain almost all throughout the night, and all morning today as well. We haven't had any rain in weeks, so what should I do? Just stay home? Or is there something I should be trying out there? It's a small lake around 7 or 8 acres or so, and I don't have a boat. So what should I do or try? Thanks!

Magic Or Powerbait?
Thanks! I just haven't caught anything on it yet but I do have something stealing the bait almost every time.

Carved My First Topwater Bait Out Of Pine!!
Nice!! How's the action?
-
Rapala Original Floater
I agree with the use of the Rapala knot! It may be a little confusing at first but it does give the lure a more natural action.

Arbogast Jitterbugs
I've actually caught bass during the day with it, the trick is throwing it in pockets where it's shaded or under overhanging trees. Just cast under there and let it sit, retrieve it for about two feet or so, then pause about five to ten seconds. Bass love it!

Arbogast Jitterbugs
Do ya'll keep it near cover, in the shallows, or in open water?

Homemade Flies
So a 5/6 weight is good outfit for Bass and Panfish?

Catching Minnows
Well you can leave them in the trap, but you'll have to rebait frequently, which means pulling the trap out of the water. So if you use the trap as a container for them, don't expect to catch too many more, as you will be moving the trap frequently. You could use an old milk jug with the top cut off if you want something to store them in.
