Usb C771 Driver Update

Featured Replies

Hey guys, I have a Casio G'Zone Commando phone that needs the C771 update, a driver. I tried searching for some of them, but either not sure I can trust the site or the site wants me to join to get it. Does anyone have this update so I can charge my phone off my computer?

Thanks a ton! One frustrated fisherman with a dying cell battery.

You shouldn't have to update your phone to charge it. It probably just wants to update software for something else. If you look at the battery bar it should still charge without a driver update.

There seems to be a hiccup with Verizon on this one. I totally understand what you are saying, but the IT fellow at my work knew what I was talking about and downloaded something to my work PC. At home when I plug it into my PC I get the option to charge (on the phone side) and nothing happens. That's what makes me think it is an update for the PC, but as with women and computers I am terrible in dealing with both.

Thanks for the suggestion Bass

I have a Casio Commando, I've had it maybe 4 months or so. No problem charging off computer, just make sure your USB setting is on charge. I would prefer charging it off a wall socket, faster charge. I did buy the desk charging cradle, well spent $29., which is the only way I home charge now. For the rare times when my battery is a bit low when I'm out, I use a generic car charger for a few bucks that works fine.
