I have the chance to fish a pond tomorrow, and have no clue how to fish it.... Its smaller, and has practically no structure whatsoever. I don't even know if it has fish honestly. Its pretty muddy, and no fish were introduced when it was formed around 8 years ago.... I've fished plenty of ponds, but never one like this. Its basically a muddy swimming pool.... I was thinking of starting with either a Chartreuse/White Chatterbait or throwing a flashy 7 or 8" swimbait, to attract a few follows.... Any advice/input?

I'd go with a spinnerbait or rattletrap. Dirty water so you want something with thump,vibration, and flash to help attract active fish so you don't waste your time fishing a pond with no fish in it. Plus those baits catch any size bass so you won't be limiting yourself quite as much as you would be by throwing a 7" swimbait.

Since you don't know whether or not the pond has fish in it, throw baits that generally catch numbers over size. A grub, small 1/4oz buzzbait, Zoom U-tail worm, fluke, etc. Just toss it around and if you don't get bit within an hour or two, you can be pretty sure there is nothing in there. Good luck my man
