When do the shad start moving up into the creeks and schooling in the Fall on Pickwick?

    Late September, but in much greater numbers by mid October.

    The small shad were schooling Wednesday. I'm not sure if it was caused by the weather change or so much current is going through the river right now they had nowhere else to go?
