"Refurbished" LC's on Ebay

Featured Replies

I know u guys have seen these.  Anyone actually ordered any?  Are they just total crap?  They rarely sell for more that $7 and $6 of that is shipping.  Even though they don't allow combined shipping it's a helluva deal if the baits are ok.

Interesting.

The ad and the way he's displaying the lures looks like the same guy I bought about 3 from last winter. He was removed from ebay as a seller. I have 3 of them. If they're not LC's you sure can't tell. I used them a couple times and they work like new.

They were not in Tokyo Japan though.  Notice the "we do not combine items on shipping"

That's a red flag.  You could ship 4-5 LC slender pointers for the same price as a single.

Alot of the stores there don't combine shipping so they're guaranteed a certain $$. I NEVER buy from them.

The red flag for me was the 15,000 Lucky Craft auctions they have with the lures .01 a piece.

My friend bought some of these. They are not LC baits. They are cheap knock offs. The weight is a different material and the beads are red plastic, not glass. The action isn't close to the same as a real LC.

I would advise you not to buy them unless it doesn't bother you.

What would make you think these were "refurbished" Lucky Crafts?  They don't even look like LC, and the pictures don't even match.

Sounds about like I figured. Obviously something not right.

J: The only LC's I own are Sammy's. As far I as I could tell, these were LC's. They certainly did nothing nothing to lead me to believe that they weren't.

I just didn't scroll down far enough....just saw the "no name" lures.  I see the "refurbs" now.  I'd be very skeptical.

Notice they say "Very rare color, good for collections."

Since when did ghost minnow and chartreuse blue become rare colors?

The guy's feedback has some complaints about these being knock-offs... I'd stay away.

My buddy gave him bad feedback and the guy offered to refund his money + pay him extra money and let him keep the baits to remove the posts. My buddy left his posts up to warn others  :D

I see one guy bought at least 9 of them and left negative feedback on all of them.

why did he spend over $50 on these without first trying one out first?
