This Is How Sad I Am

Recommended Posts

Was just watching ncis and noticed when denozo made a reference to a movie he was wrong!!

the actor said that in the movie angel with dirty faces(1938) that bogey(humphrey bogart) was a priest and cagney(james cagney) was a gangster.

this is only half true. Cagney was a gangster and bogart was in the movie but bogart wasn't a priest that was pat obrien. Bogart was a crooked lawyer that cagney kills at the end of the film.

Like to just point out how sad my life is that I can point this out....

i like pointing out the mistakes my teachers make , i cant tell you how many after school detentions ive gotten for proving them wrong and embarrasing them haha. they are all grumpy and super strict. but anyways it usn't so sad because you have a pretty sharp mind to be able to remember and point things like that out.

man I used to correct my history teachers all the time. I eventually gave up and started zoning out in those classes.

I tried correcting my teachers but that usually doesn't get me anywhere haha. If they are wrong they are wrong nothing you can do about it but listen to it.

Its good to have a hobby and there is nothing wrong in pointing out obvious, provable mistakes - but let me tell you about something that an old fella once told me. This guy was not a big time celebrity but people knew him whereever he went and would take the time to talk with him. One day I asked him how be got to be so popular. He said:

"Never back a person into a corner so far that they can't get out with losing their dinity". This has become words to live by for me.

There are a lot of bloopers in the movies.

The first release of the Star Wars movies has a blooper in one of the fight scenes.

Another old film that has a story about the crusades had an airplane vapor stream in one scene.

I read that the filming of JAWS had a number of reshoots due to background problems.

If you Google movie bloopers you can find them. Some of them are funny. :)

I'll play: Danny Devito

Easy danny devito was with jack nicholson in hoffa and one flew over the cuckoos nest; jack nicholson was with dennis hopper in easy rider; dennis hopper was in sons of katie elders, true grit, and a maybe one or 2 can't remember right now with john wayne.

Did it in 3 haha

Or here's exactly 6: danny devito jack nicholson hoffa; jack nicholson martin sheen in the departed; martin sheen and michael douglas in wall street; micheal douglas is kirk douglas's son, kirk douglas was with john wayne in harms way

Or is this better: danny devito jack nicholson hoffa; jack nicholson dennis hopper easy rider; dennis hopper marlon brando apocalypse now; marlon brando frank sinatra guys and dolls; frank sinatra and dean martin the rat pack; dean martin john wayne el dorado and sons of katie elder
