  4. I took the console out of my 99 Tacoma I just got so my rods fit sticking out the back window only by a few inches
  5. I have a lake right by my house I would like to fish but it is surrounded by private property. I do not know anyone who lives on it but I plan on asking permission to fish. I fish from the bank so I will be in their yard. Do you guys have any tips for this?
  6. Will braided line(PP) dig into or harm the line guides on my Berkely Cherrywood rod? I would hate for it to harm my rod so help would be appreciated before I go out and buy braid.

I purchased a Pfleuger Trion GX Ultralight reel and a Berkely Cherrywood Ul rod roughly a month ago, they are rated for 2-6 lb line I have Stren 6lb mono on it now and was thinking about going with Berkely NanoFil or small braid. I am not farmiliar with either of the two so which am I better off going with? Is my reel/rod compatable for braid?
  9. making hair jigs out of hair from a feral hog? I like the strength of the hair, it is very durable. This is my first attempt of doing this but Iam wondering what I can use to dye some of the hair for my next tying?
  10. Shot this 66lb sow on a WMA quota hunt in Half Moon WMA last sunday. I dropped her with 3" 00 buck out of my 12ga. Probably the most fun hunt of my life so far.

  12. I do just fine with my 243 and 100gr Core-Lokts. I have a wma hog quota hunt tomorrow and sunday, will post pics if i get some. If you would like I will dig the bullet out and take a picture to give you an idea on its expansion..?
  13. my new Pfleuger Trion/ Berkely Cherrywood UL setup, I know its nothing fancy but it suits my needs just fine.
  14. 1/8 ounce, Im putting in an order for some elk hair and red and blue buck tail at BPS. I just got by with the bare minimum to give it a try before I ordered quite a bit of material.
  15. First time tying. I used pre-made jig heads and did not do the painting on them but i did the tying. Sorry about the poor picture quality.

  18. Is it possible to be effective at drop-shot when fishing from docks, bank, ect. ? If so how would you do this?
  19. I don't fish right before, right after, or during a cold front. They just don't bite for me.

  22. 2011 accomplishments: converted from a live bait fisherman to an artificial bait fisherman caught well over 40 bass got to know the cashiers in the fishing department of walmart pretty well 2012 goals: fish more catch most of my fish on ultralight equipment catch at least an 8 pounder get a boat stop losing so much tackle
  23. Now that deer season is over for me its time I get back to fishing so I picked up a Pfleuger Trion GX Micro and a UL Berkely Cherrywood rod. Hopefully it will see some action soon. I am planning on fishing grubs, roadrunners, and other small baits.
