I dont have a seperate "panic box" but i have panic lures which are a Red Shad culprit twirl tail worm and a 1/4 oz green and brown Bitsy Bug jig witha paca chunk trailer

7.5" Red Shad Ribbontail worm is what I caught my first artificial bait bass on and i still keep them in my tackle bag 24/7.

I stay away from anything that has treble hooks and dives more than 2' due to all the weeds.

If the shad are schooling I suggest trying a double fluke rig. Also maybe try some other color spinner baits like darker colors.

I bought a baitcaster months ago and practiced to the point where I can cast pretty far, but it aggrivates me so much im giving up on it. I decided to get the Pfleuger president spinning reel, but I need help with a rod. I only like carrying 1 setup because of my situation. I mainly fish with 1/4-1/2 oz jigs and sometimes soft plastics, I want a stiff rod preferably around 6' and around $50?

What are some ideas of what to do with my torn up plastics besides trashing them? Any ideas?

It depends more upon water color that anything else. But a great all around color for me is any shade of green.

im not sure, but the walmart by my house has them on clearance and is loaded with them.

Texas rigged with a slipshot 6-8 inches above the hook (creates great falling action) with a 4/0 ewg.

There is no real accurate source for lure selection. That is a decision only you should make based upon trial and error. I only use it for feeding times and moon phases.

i like pointing out the mistakes my teachers make , i cant tell you how many after school detentions ive gotten for proving them wrong and embarrasing them haha. they are all grumpy and super strict. but anyways it usn't so sad because you have a pretty sharp mind to be able to remember and point things like that out.

I have a setup dedicated to this rig and I do not give up on the bass until I have tried this rig.

try throwing plastics behind them and work it towards them and basically put it right in their face. if you go on the my fishing trip forum i have a pic of a nice bass i caught fishing a small creek with a current , the jig was the only thing they would bite on in thet creek.hope this helps.
