A Confused Flathead

Featured Replies

Not the biggest one I've ever caught by far but he fought like a 40 pounder when he got into the current. The weird part is I had a couple rods out with live sunfish in slack water by a logjam and then one with a shad head on the edge of the current. Well he ate the shad head in the current  . Thought I had a nice blue but it turned out to be a little flathead. Scale said 10lbs 10oz.

Took the picture then turned him loose to grow up.

Might be small by flathead standards...but I'll take a 10 pound fish anyday!
