I Get Way Too Excited To Go Fishing.

Featured Replies

Got the brakes fixed on my truck. Got my siebert big o jigs in the mail and I have been stoked to go fishing. Just gotta sit through this last oceanography class and I'll be on the water.

I find myself tying new knots, checking the weather, looking at pictures of the lake, and mentally making a game plan. If I go early in the morning I hardly sleep.

I get way too excited to go fishing, way too excited.

Haha I'm the same way. It's the only thing you can get me up at 4am to do!

Yea same here i might have chores to do but for me fishing comes before chores which sometimes gets me in trouble

I've got the car packed, all the rods are rigged and my clothes laid out downstairs for this weekend. My club's "Classic", a 2 day tournament on Champlain starts tomorrow. North winds 15-20mph with 30mph gusts and air temps in the mid 50's... I'm psyched and nervous all at the same time. I love fishing... I love fall... I love the smell of braided line... I love having shredded thumbs on Monday mornings...

Stuck 2 little dinks flipping to docks with your 1/2oz pbnj jig with a falcon lake rage craw trailer in 5ft of water. Only fish all day, I'll take it though, better than being skunked like the last 3 times I went out.

WTG and get used to it! After 50 yrs, I still get fired up prior to fishing and if that stops... I aint BREATHIN'
