Benefits of the Bird

- High hook up ratio

- Unmatched underwater life like profile

- Weedless design- Throw it into anything

- Hooks are with or without barbs

- Non- Sinker (Designed not to sink) !

Looks mainly like a topwater frog to me. I would use it but not because it looks kind of like a bird.

I do like the compact profile of the lure as a whole.

Nope and i'd like to think I know a thing or two about topwater baits, lol. Ever heard of a Upshot made by luck e. strike? It should interest you.

I'd try anything just to add a little variety to my day, but I don't think it's a magic bullet.

This is just me, I see line twist and that's one thing I don't like. I always use a leader and swivel, quite often a BB and I don't get any twist for any of my freshwater fishing.

I think it's a pretty sweet looking bait! The whole idea of it being a bird and a bass being attracted to that attribute seems kinda gimmicky though lol. They'd hit it just cuz it's struggling on the surface. I also like how every single new "frog" bait on the market claims that it will not sink or take in water! Thats the nature of the beast and I have yet to see one that doesn't.
