Your son has got some skill. Did he free hand or use a pattern? Either way that is a straight gnardog pumpkin. B)

Very cool pumpkin. Is the area of the face thinner than the rest of the pumpkin?

Sorry, I kind of forgot about this thread I started.

My son found a pic online and wanted to make a template to be used on his pumpkin. So we fooled around with the sizing of the pic until we could get it to fit on the pumpkin. Initially we were going to just cut out what you see on the pic (eyes, nose, mouth, cracks in the skull) and paint the face, but then we decided to peel the skin/rind off the face providing a lighter color and dimension to the face. So there was some "hands on adult supervision" on this one...LOL
