litestick lure??

Featured Replies

I had the thought last nite of inserting a very small litestick (glowstick) inside a clear'ish plastic worm for night fishing.

Any thoughts?

Might work?

Stupid?

ect... :-)

You'll attract water snakes. I guarantee it.

Last time I bought into the "use a light to attract fish" mumbo jumbo; a nice friendly water moccasin came to visit me.  :-[

I think it is kind of an off the wall idea but theres a whole lot of fish caught by people doing off the wall weird things. Try it. The worst that can happen is it won't work along with the other 80% of the tackle we carry at any given time ;D

Doesn't Cabelas still sell the Aquaglow baits that glow in the water?  You may look into them, from what I remember, they are rather cheap.

I considered the glow paint idea but wondered how it would flake off from a soft plastic bait.

I might try the glow stick idea in a tube bait sometime just for grins and giggles.

If it works I will let you know.

Thanks for all the comments.
