Just started fishing the Ni and wondered if there was anyone out there willing to help with Fall pattern - general areas, etc. Been out a few times lately without much luck - throwing worms, crankbaits. I'm nwe (again) to lake fishing as I spend most time fishing Stripers on the Chesapeake Bay. Need to get a few in the boat before it gets cold!

Better hurry up, Ni and Hunting Run are closing after Nov 20.

I have fished a couple club tournaments at Ni and it is my least favorite place to fish. From the results of the tournament I would recommend going to the laft arm as you leave the ramp to find the fish this time of the year. That's where most of the fish weighed in came from. Most were caught on soft plastics. Chatter baits were also productive.

The county does not what to pay for labor operating the check-in/boat rental with a low volume of traffic.

I had some luck with bass schooling there last week busting shad threw a 4ft dt rapala gizzard shad color caught 13 ignore the balls if there not going crazy

went out yesterday and now i remember why i hate that place, no fish ni. not even a bite or a sign of life for 5 hours used everything i could think of. even double fluke in the schools, top water, plastics, spinners, cranks everything!!!!

It definitely a tough place. I'm lucky to get three out of there in a day and nothing of size at that. One day just one of these day...........

Sounds like my normal outing at Ni. I only fish there if I have to.
