Hello

does anyone have any experience with the Clark falcon rod? I would like to know how does the MH feel and if it has a soft enough tip to throw some cranks in a pinch.

Yes you can, but it all depend on the action of the rod. Cranking is better with a moderate tip action. Plastic usually use fast tip action.

I understand the action for plastic & cranking. I'm just curious about the true action of the rod. I like throwing cranks in tight spots with medium action fast rods. I'm would like to find a rod with fast action a soft tip and medium heavy action.

My understanding with those rods, is that the blanks are the same as Caras. A search for Caras, in the blank that you were looking at would give you the answers you are looking for.

I bought a 6'6 all purpose MH Wendlant a couple weeks ago from ***, which currently has them on sale at $100. I like the rod very well, it would probably work fine for what you wish to do. The tip is fast, but cranks seem to work well with it. Yes, they are Caras, great rod for the money.

Okay the the tip is fast. Is the rod really stiff? like a fast worm rod?

I don't have a worm rod to compare it to, I'd call it stiff, it's definately got some backbone.
