I had two of these reels for the longest time. These where one of the longest lasting and smoothest reels I have owned regardless of price. I just traded them because I could only use them in the summer here in NE Ohio. The metal reel would get way too cold in the spring and fall and freeze my hands. Other than that, awesome awesome reels.

One of the all time sleepers, great reel. I know what you mean about the cold, I have 2 with plastic sideplates for early season jerkbaits and lipless cranks.
