WHAT ARE THE BEST BASS COLORS!?!?!?!?!?!?

Featured Replies

Pearl and Watermelon are my favorites.  I usually hit them up with some chartreuse dye.

Out of what is listed, I'd have to go with baby bass as well.

Hard baits, I voted shad.

Every body of water has shad or one of his minnow type brethren that bass eat. Most smaller baitfish resemble a form of shad.

Soft plastic,  green pumpkin/watermelon (clearer h2o)

Junebug/Black (murky h2o)

Vanilla with chocolate/rasberry chunk. Baskin Robbins had that flavor once, can't remember the name.

I tend to lean towards bluebell birthday cake.  ;D

I fail to concur. I know and fish a lake that has NO shad, or the like. The fish won't touch a silver, white, or shad clored bait. Very picky. Just sayin', some lakes are different and require a special approach.

I voted leech  :;) I have no idea what color that is. That fits with I have no idea what this poll is about  :P

Scuppernong is not on the list? Harry and Charlie would be very disappointed. I decided it is my right as an American to not vote at all.

Better to not vote than vote fro a bad choice. No Political overtones here. As Geddy Lee of Rush said, "If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice".

Out of those I picked crawfish even though shad, bluegill, and baby bass work great as well. In darker water firetiger is my go to.

For plastics though I love plain old pearl white. Imitates just about any young fish small enough for a bass to swallow. Great in most all water conditions. In clear water with bright sun I like more subtle like bluegill or baby bass.
