i Just ordered one of these from cabela's they are on sale for 219.88 which is 100 off the regular price. the only thing is its on back order. i cant wait to get it but i have never held one of these rods before. i have a savvy and like it alot so i could only imagine i will like this rod more. does anyone have one? and do you like them?

i bought their 701 spinning rod and i love it. i love the tip of the rod and also the sensitivity of this rod. paired it up with a shimano stradic ci4 1000ml and it is super balance as well as super lightweight. hope you like yours too.

I have the DX703C, love it. Paired with CH50Mg to cut down on total weight.

I've got three of these rods and when the tackle sites offer their holiday sales I plan on picking up another. You will be completely satisfied with that rod. I never thought I'd like using a rod with a split grip, but after using the Extreme, I've become a fan of this type of handle. It's a very well ballanced, light, and sensitive rod. It gets five out of five stars from me.

Weird. I noticed those prices on cabelas website too so I called to see when they'd be in stock and the lady told me they're no longer carrying them.
