Tru-Life Swimbait

Featured Replies

I just picked up my first tru-life swimbait. What is the best presentation for these types of swimbaits? I will be fishing clear water.

Thanks

Slow, steady retrieve in all types of water clarity works for well for me.

when i fish swimbaits i like a steady retrieve, really fast retrieve, or a steady retrieve broken up with twitching.

x2 above replies. If you are using a floater then add deadsticking to the list. Make it act like a baitfish just lazily swimming along sunning itself.

* Also want to add that if you are using the floater/slow sink and using no balls in it then it can't handle a very fast retrieve. It will roll on it's side.
