Veritas Rods

Featured Replies

I'm trying to find info on the warranty without much luck , does anyone on here know if the rods carry any kind of warranty ?

Thanks for your time in advanced.

it's one year. basically, you have to spend about $20 to ship it back to them and include another $10 to cover return shipping of a replacement rod back to you.

oops, my mistake...thanks for the correction.

Any failure of a rod due to material defect would happen upon the initial flexing of the rod. After that, there is either a handling, care or mis-use issue (albiet possibly minor) contributing. Regardless of warranty policy I'd be surprised and disappointed if a rod manufacturer didn't replace a rod that failed first time out for free. After that anything less than full replacement cost by the user is good will.

I saw a kid on youtube showing off his broken Veritas and someone from Abu reached out to him and replaced it free of charge

How are the microguide versions if anyone knows, no hijack

I have broken a Veritas and sent it to Abu and they replaced it free of charge. It was about 8 months old too!

Ya know, I was gonna buy one of them but I read so much about them breaking at the tip I decieded against it.

I have a 7'MH casting and a 6'6MH spinning. Both have been put through a good amount of abuse, shoving them in the car, dropping them on the ground, and I walk along banks a lot so when I walk sometimes the tips get caught on a branch. And also, up against 30" pike and on muskie. Haven't had one break yet.
