Looking For Thin Plastic Tubing

Featured Replies

Hello everyone. I'm working on a line-through mod for a bait, and I'd appreciate it if someone can point me in the right direction.

I'm looking for some thin plastic tubing, like the refill of a ball-point pen- which is what I'm using right now.

The inner diameter has to be around 0.025 inches or so.

The overall tube should be thin, but strong. Flexible or stiff doesn't really matter, but more flexibility is better as long as it's still strong.

Basically I'm looking for a thinner but more flexible pen refill.

Thanks for any pointers.

First thing that comes to mind is coffee stirrers, but I don't have any for a measurement

Try this site. Found it seaching for flexible tubing. They have various sizes in different materials. On the left side of the following page there is a list of several tubing materials. There should be something ideal for your application. While it appears they sell in volume, you may be able to find someone who sells what you want in smaller quantities.

Biil, good idea. I'll do that soon as I'm done with my finals. Thanks. Catch anything on your Alabama rig yet? :D

Fishing Rhino, that's a cool site. I'll browse it when I have a little spare time. I need to know what whatever I need is called. Thanks a bunch.

Tom D., I'll look into that. Thanks.

Not sure if this would help, but electrical wire. Pull/strip the wire out of say a 12/2 or 14/2 wire. Flexible and pretty strong. Just a thought.
