are they the same type bait...same action...or different?

Ima Roumba

the roumba has a really wide wobble and has a different action it kinda rolls side to side more if that makes sense than the Rc i have i think its the one you are talking about it has the joint and feathered treble. i pick up the roumba first always i love it when the gills are bedding.

You are comparing Apples and Oranges here..... The Ima is a single piece, silent super shallow crankbait. The RC is a jointed, rattiling wakebait. I do not have experiance with the Ima, but the LV RC WK 3.5 has been an absolute killer for me. They are super durable, and the price is right on the website...$10.77 apiece for a LC is pretty good!

Were talking about the Ima Rattling Roumba and they are both Wakebaits. Lucky Craft is replacing the RC with the Skeet Reese Fat Smasher I believe.

yes, it is the LC jointed/feathered that i am talking about....i have it but have not had the chance to use it much. i didn't know if the Roumba was/is a different type lure that i should add to my "collection". ??

Get on Youtube and look up Ima Roumba and watch and learn. Pay special attention to the rod position during retrieves. It's a niche' bait. When the conditions are there, it's a special lure. I'm a cautious buyer but popped for one thinking it would be a bust. I was wrong, again. It's worth having at least one.

Bass Junkie is right, different actions. I've had more success with the RC wake. That said I know the Roumba has quite a following.

I have the LC wake, and both the silent and rattling Roumba's. All 3 have their own time and place as far as effectiveness. If you can afford it, 1 of each might be a good idea. Since were on this topic, the Egg from Basspro is a great alternative to the Roumba, not exactly the same, but similar and much cheaper.

I'm glade to see the LC Wake will be around for awhile. I had good luck with one year before last until I lost it. As soon as I saw them on sale at BP I stocked up, I'll never be without one again. It works great as a topwater search bait.
