duo lock swivels good/bad?/

Featured Replies

since i fish from the bank and usually only carry one (maybe 2) poles.

i started using duo locks on everything for ease of quickly changing baits... especially if i get a hit on something and want to follow up with a worm.

what is your opinion on these?

good....bad...   :-/

Snaps only! No snap swivels!  And never for single hook baits.

Duo lock snaps ---> okie dokie

Duo lock snap/swivel combination ---> only for in-line spinners.

I always tie direct to the line.  I also use 2 poles, and what i'll  often do is one one pole i'll have a spinnerbait or crankbait, and on the other pole some type of soft plastic.  That way i'm set to easily go either way.  For any of the soft plastics, I just pop it off the hook and put a new one on.
