What To Tie On?

Featured Replies

Ok guys, im hitting a lake here in NC tomorrow about mid-morning. Its supposed to be mid 50's and clear. I expect the water temp to be around 50 as well. Here is the question........Im taking 5 rods, what do i tie on? I have a jig and pig on one, and a jerkbait on one as well........what other baits/lures should i tie on?

Thanks

Shakeyhead, rattlebait, preferrably an Excalibur one knocker, and a spinnerbait with double colorado blades. I like your first two choices and if you can't catch fish with any of those a last ditch effort might be to try to graph some bait and jig a spoon.

May sound different, but I like a Rapala (Floater) around rock banks. Just let it sit and twitch.

Definitely use a rattletrap type bait on one and a swimjig (i.e.: Chatterbait w/fluke trailer) on the other. Beyond that, it depends on the conditions you are faced with.
