Dying Weeds Affect Frog Bite?

Some of our weeds around here are already starting to die for the year. Do you find that the frog bite quits or is greatly slowed once the thick weeds start to turn?

Yes it will ... Dying weeds remove oxygen from the water they once gave it to so the fish leave.

You bet it will. I don't ever remember catching a good fish from dying weeds. They relocate quickly. Lack of oxygen is what I always thought it was from.

Now if you are talking reeds along the shoreline it's a different story. When they start to lay on the surface and create somewhat of a mat it is on.

Ditto on what these guys said. Find a place where they are still alive and you will find the bass.

When those reeds lay over it opens up a whole new ballgame.
