Well, at least they have a GM that's not afraid to hire "his" guy. I thought for sure they'd be chasing a big name. Hopefully this works out.

A think it is a good hire. The raiders have some talent, maybe Allen can put it together.

I'm still on the fence about this hire because I dont know much about him yet. Hopefully he will get a big time WR.....a playmaker. I hope he's hard on McFadden too, he needs to toughen up and play a whole season.

The Raiders should make a huge push for Peyton, the colts are almost certainly going to cut him, he then goes where he wants to. Peyton as the qb in Oakland pushes them to the top of the AFC possibly.

Peyton is probably done. Three neck surgeries including fusion and nerve damage don't sound promising.

He should retire with dignity and not be carted off the field.

If he can play, he will.

I'd love to see Peyton in the silver & black but it wont happen unless another team is willing to pick up Palmer and his huge contract, which is doubtful. The Raiders cant afford Peyton AND Palmer. They should at least get in it and run the price up on the other teams who want him. :eyebrows:

Heck I'd be happy if he gets us a big name linbacker to replace Rolondo. The defense needs a little sprucing up.
