Went to Dick's and spent about an hour and $30. I have really narrowed my most used baits to Senko-type lures, therefore I bought the following:

Yum Watermalon Seed 5" Dingers

Yum Carolina/Pumpkin/Chartreuse Dingers

Gamakatsu Octopus 2/0

And a big 1 compartment Plano box for all my plastics.

This should hold me up for about, oh, maybe one fishing trip ;D

Really? You are missing out on some of the best deals you can find. I almost exclusively order online for all my needs except groceries.Sales tax is a killer in Chicago. I have actually had neighbors ask if I was receiving "illegal" things. Maybe see if your mom will o.k. the site before you order from them. You can trust * 100%.

Actually, I did the math and explained it to my madre. For $24, I bought 44 sticks. If I had ordered from ***, for the same $24 I could have gotten 100 sticks. That's more than twice the amount of baits. Ridiculous. I am now allowed to order online.

I got 75 baits for $15...then add the $5 for shipping.

Those baits will last me till next year. ;D

It's hard to believe how great the quality of the trick sticks are for that low of a price. 8-)

Here's a way to try it Fat-G. Take the money the cash that you have and put it on a prepaid credit card. Then show your mom what you got at retail store. Then show her what you could get online for the same price. Its all about how you present it. She could even be there when you do the ordering.

That doesn't even include had you loaded up on the max 3 bags of dents & dings, which is an absolute must.

Hahaha trust me, I've done my fare share of convincing:) I showed her one of the baits, explained how they get torn up after a fish or two, then told her that I could be getting double the quantity for the same price. In-steps my dad, who was like "okay sounds good to me, we're ordering online", followed by my mom saying "oh so your making the decisions now", followed by my dad saying, "in nineteen years of marriage, this is the first decision I can ever remember making on my own."
