Coming To Memphis, Want To Fish

Featured Replies

I'm headed out to Memphis on the 14th. I was hoping to get a half day of fishing in before I get busy. I was thinking 2nd half the 14th (its a Tuesday). Can anyone here suggest a guide? Are they still bitting out there? If you cant post a guides name on the forum feel free to email me at vinnyengongoro@rocciesasphalt.com

Thanks

I was thinking bass, but if cats are all there is, I'll do that too. Any bass fishing now?? BTW, hows that Germantown Commisary? Looking forward to BBQ.

OK......as far as bass fishing the only thing close in memphis is going to be pond hoping. The best guide there would be RW, but he is a busy man, and probably can't miss a days work during the week. Catfishing on the Mississippi river would be the guy RW posted. If you had more time, and could travel a little, there would be plenty of places and guides, but on such short amount of time, it would be tough.

Another suggestion who might take you out somewhere close in memphis, or right south in mississippi is peanut quon.

Hey man if you want to pond hop I can help you out but besides that good luck. And yes the commissary is really good, but I'd say go to randevous it's the city's best.
