I have a Abu Garcia Ultracast ULT 2000 and I took off the complete bail (which I'm kicking myself in the hind end for now). I tried for a couple hours, and cannot get it back on. The side with the two bent rods, and the spring is what is giving me trouble. I cannot figure out how everything is supposed to go. Could someone tell/show me how it goes together?

In certain designs getting the spring tension right on a bail spring can be challenging to put it lightly. The shematic will show the parts and basic orientation but you'll have to study the mechanics carefully to see which way will put the tension on the spring when the bail is opened.

Yeah, the spring really gave me trouble, and I had a hard time getting it to fit right, but I finally did it.
