I'm Taking A Trip To Jacksonville - Need Help!

Featured Replies

My job is taking me from Virginia to Jacksonville on March 13th. I will not have a boat and I have no clue where to fish but I'll have the entire day on the 14th to fish.

Is there anyone interested in letting me fish out of the back of their boat that day? I'll cover the cost of gas for the boat and the vehicle. I'm just looking to get in on some of the deep south spawn action. I've never Bass fished in Florida and I'm looking forward to the chance.

I'm going down March 24th and have asked about shore line fish and a couple of people were nice enough to reply. You happen to be going to IPTM?? I'll be there for 6 weeks and miss the spawn up hear in KY. :(

hey josh if you need any advice about jx just send me a im

Good luck finding a fish on a bed here. We are apparently in the midst of a cold-front plague...Last nights lows were in the low 20's...If you are lucky enough to get someone to take you to Lake George or more preferrably, salt springs run off of George you may find some spawners. Outside of that, Idunno man. Either way, post up and let us know how it went!

Thanks for the information I appreciate it!

CTF58 - I have no clue what IPTM is? Haha, sorry I'm no help there. I'm going ot be in and out of town here in Virginia all summer and I'm trying to catch as much action as possible during the spawn or just anytime really. I fish a local tournament trail here in the area and I'll be lucky if I'm able to fish the 8 tournament minimum required and accumulate enough points to qualify for our "classic" this year. It's kind of a bummer, but it just goes with the territory I guess.

NCBassmaster - I'm going to shoot you an IM shortly! Thanks

BassinSoldier - I'll let you know what happens for sure, hopefully I get to wet a line, even if I'm on the bank...

NCBassmaster - I'll have to IM you when I get off work, this DoD computer won't allow IM's or much else. I'm surprised I can even read internet pages on this thing. Hahaha I'll talk to you later. Thanks again!

yeah im pretty sure you're being monitored too

kayaks are the way to go

I use to have a Kayak and do a lot of fishing from it, now I just have an aluminum Bass boat but I won't have it in Jacksonville....

That's kind of why I'm looking for someone to go fishing with while I'm in town.
