"cousin Vinny" And I.....

"Cousin Vinny" made a post a while back about coming to Memphis and wanting to fish. Well he is in Memphis and we fished. Kinda weird how it planned out, but it worked! He had emailed me to see if RW and I could meet him for lunch Wednesday, but unfortunately I couldn't make it. I gave him a great suggestion on where to eat and he made a stop by for lunch today. After leaving, he emailed me and told me how great it was, and as luck would have it, I was just getting off work. I emailed him back and gave him my number and told he we could sneak away for a couple hours to my honey hole! He met me at my house in less than 20 mins, and off we were. Only got to fish about 3 hours, but I put Vinny on his new PB largemouth (outside of Florida) and we had a great time. Fish weighted one ounce shy of 5 lbs. Although Vinny out fished me 4:1 he is welcome to come back anytime.

PS> This was the first time I had ever met Vinny and we hadn't talked other than here on BR and one other email EVER!!!! BR made me a new friend!!! We are not really cousins. it is his screen name, and he is from Connecticut!!

Don't let him fool you he has connections :eyebrows: , BR connections!

It was a fantastick time. I too made a new friend and that connection helped me get my personal best for LMB. No doubt I will be the *** of my fishing buddy's out here. Awsome time. I only hope Jeff will come up to Connecticut and let me take him on Long Island Sound for Striped Bass, Blue fish and fluke on kayaks or my boat.

Vinny, my friend, any time you are down here, be sure to look me up so we can do it again! And if I ever get the chance to get up there, you know I will be calling!
