Flourocarbon

Featured Replies

There's not one...at least not that I've found. If you have to have fouro just bite the bullet and get trilene 100% or any one of the seaguars. If not, yz hybrid in 20lb is money for flipping.

+1 to the above. compared to the price of your reel, rod, and lure on the end of it the 5 dollars in quality flouro that will be on the rod is not a large expenditure. I've been using trilene 100% and im happy with it, Tatsu by Seagaur is supposively the real deal. Any seaguar or trilene 100% should work out well for you.

I use both BPS XPS and Berkley 100%. They both work well.

I've never had a problem with BassPro XPS fluoro. Buy some during their annual Spring Sale and it's a steal.

If you're looking to the cheap in price but not cheap in quality, look at Cabela's house brand. Its formula is very similar to Invizx from Sea Guar. Not only that, it is roughly about $13.00 for a 200 yard spool. Well it used to be $9.99 that last time I bought it. Inflation! lol

I have used BPS and currently use Seaguar InvizX and like the InvizX better. My fishing partners and I have dabled in other flouro's and when you start spending $20 or so a spool your getting a good product but Seaguar seems to be a little better then most.

If you want pretty good quality for a lower cost look at Seaguar Red Label. Its pretty good but for the extra $ I would buy InvizX or AbrazX.

Both P-Line 100% 20lb ($26.99) and 20lb Sunline Super FC Sniper ($23.99) have been good to me.

yep, 20lb sunline sniper, shooter, or even their super fluorocarbon(15.99, 200yds) dont let the price fool you, its some legit stuff. vicious pro elite is awesome as well and wont break the bank.

17# Vicious for flipping,It's tough stuff!!! Seaguar Red Label for more manageable fluorocarbon.

Another vote for XPS here...

I think for just flipping any brand is ok. If you are casting repeatly that's a different story.....................Al
