The tv coverage of day one of the classic was TERRIBLE! They showed several scenes about four times and spent way too much time showing Zona and the other guy talking.

I assume this was because they had cameras on the big name guys that were favored to win and they had a bad day. I still would rather see them catch some fish rather than watch two people talk and do interviews. I sure hope the next two days of coverage are better because today's sucked.

I must admit I did enjoy watching Aaron Martens get hit in the head with that flying bass. The only way that could have been better would be if it got stuck in his mouth so I wouldn't have to hear him mumble.

Your lucky, you at least get to watch the classic TV show...Up here in Canada we don't get any elite events none at all

The day 2 coverage was much better, we actually got to see some fishing! I love the slow motion replay that they are using.

I was wondering the exact same thing as I just flipped over to espn.

The gymnastics thing was mildly annoying, until I realized that ESPN did the same exact thing last year.

A 9:30 start turned into a little after 10. If you say 9:30, just make it 9:30. Any other sport and they would have started the coverage on another ESPN channel.
