I read a lot of the posts on the Bass Boat forum and have noticed that not many people run a Skeeter. Any opinions on them??

I've ridden in a few. I would not want to own one if they all porpoise like the ones I've been in.

Porpoising is usually the driver. I can make mine porpoise but why.

It a very popular boat in some parts of the country. It used to be one of the two boat sponsors for BASS.

One of my partners runs a Skeeter. It's a great fishing platform. I have no qualms about owning one, if I were to do so. Actually my next ride will be one of two boats, a Skeeter or a Nitro. And it's not even about bonus bucks or sponsorship. It's about dry ride, storage, and fuel consumption.

My good buddy has a Skeeter. I've fished out of it several times and it is a great boat. Dry, fast, stable, lots of storage, etc, etc. I would not hesitate to buy one if the price is right. Find one with a V Max SHO on the back and WOW, LOOKOUT.

My next boat will probably be either a Legend or a Skeeter.

Seemed like every other pro at the classic was in a skeeter. The Southern Open that Lane won earlier this year there also seemed to be alot of skeeters.

There is no reason not to own one, I am a HUGE Nitro fan, if the opportunity were to present itself I would own a skeeter in a heartbeat.

Most, not all issues with these boats are usually the owners misunderstanding of how to properly maintain and operate these boats, you would do well to purchace one if you are thinking about it.
