Good deal! I have 3 of them and I like them alot. I work at Gander part time, so I can't look at them because I will end up buying one!

looked at GM and carrots websties and cant find what rods they recomend for what task.

what would the CLTXPG691MH-F-C suited for?

With a 6'9" MH you can fish alot of different rigs. You could fish that rod for jigs,T-rigs,C-rig,senko's,swimming jigs, ect.! For a crank or spinnerbait rod I would perfer a rod like a 7 ' M action with a lite action tip. Now if frog fishing , that is a different story, then 7' To 71/2 ' H action and a EX fast tip. I hope that I did help.

thanks for the help guys sound like it would fill a hole in my setups.

If still on in a couple of weeks I might have to jump one of these!

I want to get a nice MH-F spinning rod for chatterbaits.

Been looking for a rod in the $80 range. Was not even looking at Carrot Stix since they were out of my price range. Thanks for the post eyedabassman!!! Think I got a great deal, and had the pick of whatever I wanted since here in Indiana they don't go on sale till next week. Got the 7' MH-F. They price matched it with their website. Were listed at $149.99, bought it for $74.99 like posted. Great deal!!!
