I always liked the run of the mill nightcrawlers with eagle claw barbed bait hooks. Not sure what size. Grab my Snoopy-pole, a can of worms and box of hooks and bobbers and get rdy to do some pro-style bassin!

...j/k. Good question tho...?????

Real worms are lethal on bass for sure. The only problem is the perch and panfish get to them first usually.

My favorite all around worm is probably the 6" zoom u tale in black. I also love 4" power worms and ringworms with a curltail. I pair the 6" worm with a 2/0 or 3/0 EWG gammy and the 4" with a 1/0 EWG gammy.

So true :),  4inch senko in watermelon with black flake, 03 or 04 gammie offset shank hook.  That combo has not failed me in the past couple weeks.   Although im new to the bass game so I haven't had the pleasure of really trying out alot of things.

I change around some on worm color/size, as of now the one I throw most often is the Zoom Mag 11 in watermelon/red or the Ole Monster in same color with a Gamakatsu 3/0 hook and 3/16 bullit weight.

been working the 6" roboworms (balkgrape/aaron's magic), texas rigged on a 1/0-2/0 EWG  followed by a bead and 1/8oz bullet and they been getting the job done. :) 8-)
