Sunline Super Fluorocarbon

Featured Replies

anyone else use this stuff? its pretty freakin awesome. it has really exceeded my expectations.

I have the 16# on my jig rod and so far I really like it. It's very easy to manage, not stiff like some others. Fished mostly around rocks today, but also pitched some laydowns and never had any issues with abrasion.

i saw it on sale at dicks sporting goods for 9.99 today so i picked up the 16# for my jig rod. ive used it in rocks, laydowns, stumps, grass, you name it and it has performed amazingly! no issues. yea i agree its really small diameter to pound test, supple, ggreat knot strength, as well as strength in general, this stuff is by no means second class.

It's a very good entry level FC.

Diameter is consistent to others with good knot strength and abrasion resistance.. Overall a mid quality line that's better than most.

I use Sniper and Shooter depending on application, but wouldn't hesitate to use Super if I had to over almost any other flouro sold.

I dunno about super but sniper is the ( . )( . ) I run it for all my floro needs

I used 14 and 16lb last year quite a bit.  I really liked the 16lb.  The 14 was iffy for me.  Even though it was only a slight step down from the 16, it just seemed exponentially less abrasion resistant.  Both sizes handled well.  All in all, it's a pretty good, cheaper fluorocarbon.
