ok guys what baits are yall goin to throughin this spawn and what ponds yall goin to be hittin

I'll definitely be throwin lizzards! One of my favorite for spawn. Lipless cranks have been productive for me as well. Spinnerbaits have been good lately. Im sure I'll hit a few ponds but my boat is all good now so imma be hitting a few lakes now! Gotta take advantage of these 80 degree days in March!

I may stay in town this weekend and fish Collierville Saturday morning.

If you, or anyone else, would like to get together for breakfast, let's

meet at Perkins around 5:30.

The lures I would recommend are Rage Tail Shad and your favorite small

swimbait: Keitech Swing Impact Fat, Shadalicious, Hollow Belly or GYCB

i have a confession... i have never fished a rage....i hear yall talk about how awesome they are but i have never pulled the trigger when shopping...i fished the grove yesturday afternoon ..it was soooo slowwwww for such a beautiful day..i started with a kvd 1.0 crank with no luck except grass....switched to a spinner and got just a few hits...any spawn suggestions for the grove...

Where are you fishing at Grove? All mine have come from the wooded area on the far side of the pond. Put a finesse worm on a 1/8 or 1/4 oz (depending on wind) shakey head and work it like you were teasing a cat with yarn. I have done pretty well with that setup out there. I dont catch a bunch of numbers there but the ones I do get are quality. I'm headed out to Glenn Springs this weekend. I"ll give a report when I return (hopefully a good one! )

Strike King Super Finesse worm. I thank Jeff everytime I fish with them cuz the action on them is awesome!! Thanks Jeff! Hahaha!

You are welcome! But I told you they were super top secret! J/K! They are really good. My go to shakey head worm, but I mainly only shakey head from a boat and normally rock bottom. If I am pond hopping I fish them standard t-rigged! Best thing is you can fish the same worm all day long....numerous fish on each worm!

I know you use em to Patrick but I had been using them for a while. Back when strike king called them 3x worms. When you mentioned them to me mid last year I had some still left over.
