Anyone been fishing out there recently? I have some friends coming into town Saturday, and they want to catch some bass. I have not been out there for months, so I am not sure if things are still slow.

If anyone has any reports, I would appreciate it.

check your pm. i was at holiday ALL day on thursday. managed 10 pounds or so. i have a club tourny tomorrow there, not sure if i am going to fish it though. the lake is still hot.

Thanks for the help guys. It turned out(the wives bs'ing too much) that we only had a couple of hours to fish (3-6) so I ended up going to Lox because it was closer. I didn't even get one bite, let alone a fish.

Funny ting was as soon as we returned to the ramps, there was a guy fishing from shore who caught a 3#'er right in front of us. LOL

I was fishing off Tamiami Tr. today, had a 7# and 4 others in the 3+ range. Bite is slow down south.

Shane, that's an impressive day out there! I haven't seen a 20lb bag come from the L67 canal system in a loooong time.
