Jackall Flick Shake Worm Alternative

Featured Replies

I just got a bunch of flick shake jig heads, but the worms themselves are out of my price range for now. Has anyone used other worms that work well with the flick shake technique? I know the flick shake worm is curved at the end so that it wobbles on the descent, but doesn't a senko also wobble when it sinks? What's the difference?

I ha ve only used the Jackalls but I saw that BPS is now making an alternative, otherwise you can throw just about anything on there, from flukes to senkos

The Senko will wobble while it is sinking. If you want a worm shaped bait, try the Zoom Finesse Worm. It also wobbles sinking, a 20 pack for about $4 and it has great action.

Anything works on a wacky jig, but if you are getting bit on a particular setup, I don't see the merit in changing it. It's like real GYCB Senkoworms vs. copies. Chances are you'll get bit on whatever you go with (Zoom Finesse Worms and Senko copies work great on wacky jigs), but you have to gain confidence with them.
