Plastic Screw-In "weights"

Featured Replies

I may have missed this on the forum, so please excuse me. I'd do a search, but i don't know what they are called. Anyway..it's like a florida -rig weight, (with wire) but has a plastic body instead of lead. Any info would be greatly appreciated....later

I believe it's produced by Reaction Innovations and is neutral in weight and was designed to protect the nose of baits like the skinny dipper from sliding the hook shank. I don't know if it's still available.

Paycheck also makes a version.

Yep, just a stuck texas rig weight. They have them for sale on TW.

Use parasite weights instead, they work WAY better.

Thanks fellas.

Do they have a weightless model? I think that's what he was looking for.

Yeah they make plain clips and I use them on ALL my plastics! They keep baits from sliding down the hook, help your hookup rate, and help hold them on the hook. You will catch twice as many fish before you have to replace your plastic.
