Anyone throw these frequently? I don't throw cranks much,and for me,If I catch even one on a crank,its a good time. Last year,in my season opener,I boated 3 on a Shad patterned DT6,This years season opener was exactly the same,with the exact same bait.

Yesterday,I boated 2 on a silver/black back DT10 Sureset. I'm kinda liking these DT Cranks...how's everyone else like em?

I like them myself, the DT 6 is extremely verstile but so the the DT Thug. I also am a fan of the DT Flat 7 and Flat 3 and the DT FAT series, they all are excellent fish catchers. DT Flat series is a good choice around wood or in colder water and the DT Flat 3 is what I call a finesse square bill, it deflects very good but instead of an erratic wide wobbling action it has a straight tracking tight shimmy which is awesome when a front has moved in or if the fish are spooky, great around wood.

They are good baits but I've stopped fishing them for the most part, they are just too fragile. I've broken so many bills off them just deflecting off rocks on the retrieve and now that they run 7-9 dollars apiece I can't afford to buy them if they're going to break that easily.

I never go to the water without a dt 10 tied up caught a bunch on a dt 6 today

I don't have any because I'm no longer a "tackle collector" and I have more cranks than I can ever use. However, DTs are one of my partner's favorites and he's had good success with them. For as long as I can recall, they've always been considered fragile, in the sense that the bills break easily. But it's my understanding that the thin bills also contribute to their action.
