Try it, you might be surprised. I think there might be

some advantages over plastic, but it's a lot more difficult

to work with.

A lot of people much rather use plastics, because you have to put a whole in the pork to get your hook threw it.But on the other hand its greet for the fall and winter months.Out performing plastics at a given.Secreaten oils from the pork flavor, and can hold scents well. But do not leave it sit out, it will shrink and harden up, if left out of its liquid container. And here's one for ya, take a sharp dowel and make a cavity then insert a rattle in it for extra nose.Good luck!Ooo its real PORK.

Whats special about a uncle josh porker bait not much. Strike king has it's own model of this bait and Bill Dance had several shows on the bait. It is kinda like a worm and can be Carolina rigged, drop shot rigged, or used as a trailer to extend the bait a little. I have a fishing buddy who had them and used them and caught fish on them. In cold water the pork has more action than plastic and the brine gives it the taste of salt. Because it is a skin of a live pig it has the texture of live critter and the fat has the amino's to tell the bass it is real. The strike king model was called the pork'o.

After many years, I finally tossed my bottles.  Kept leaking and I never use them.  They dry out and dont have the color matching ability I like with soft plastics on my jigs.
