I am a poor boy but got a little cash to spend and want opinions on whether or not a little extra is worth it. Looking Revo s versus sx and the vendetta versus veritas. I like flippin and pitchin and fish WAY more jigs and plastic than anything else. I like the sx having more bearings and the veritas having more eyes. Will get a 7' mh fast action rod or maybe longer in heavy if you guys recommend the vendetta. Opinions appreciated. Hope to order in the morning.

Since you are low on cashage, the Revo S is one heck of a reel for the price. I had both the S and the SX and to me i could pitch lures just as good with the Revo S. Let me give you another possibility.... Lews Speed Spool...the $99.00 model. You can probably find it for $89.00 and I can pitch every bit as good with it as I can any other reel I have. Very nice.

Get a 7' 3" MH Veritas. Most versitile rod in the series. Has enough lenght and more than enough backbone to flip/pitch, but also handles frogs, spinnerbaits, T-Rigs, and C-Rigs with ease.

You can get the revo s for 99 bucks right now and the sx for 129.99. I have them both. I am really new to baitcasting but i really enjoy these 2 reels.

Veritas is a great bang for the buck but I have not fished the verdict or vendetta line.

The mere number of bearings or guides don't necessarily mean better quality or performance by themselves. Both Revos are good reels. I prefer the centrifugal braking found in the S. It's much more user friendly. A flush of the bearings will make the S cast very well. Rods with micro guides sometimes use 1-2 extra guides but the over all weight savings are significant especially in the tip. I'd save a little on the reel and invest in the highest end rod you can fit into your budget to build a combo for plastics and jigs.

I prefer the revo s to the sx personally, I thinks it's because I don't like magnetic brakes

X2 !!! When it comes to plastics and jigs your rod becomes more important, save on the reel and get the best rod you can.
