Hey Friends, I just returned from the "Reel American Heroes Foundation" event and I can say for a fact that it was the best run fishing tournament and also produced the best results of any event that I have ever had the opportunity to be a part of!!!

It was held near Washington DC at the Hope Springs Marina on the Potomac river providing a full day of fishing, fun, food and prizes to many of our veterans and Wounded heroes! There was no entry fee for anyone involved and everyone who attended received gifts and awards.

This is truly the finest NON PROFIT organization that I have ever been involved with, and the positive impact that it provided is beyond words that can describe. Please take the time to review each of the photos that were assembled here and you will see EXACTLY what I am talking about.

There are several of our young heroes who were in wheel chairs, without limbs and or fitted with prosthetics who were served and celebrated during this time as well... I was moved at the THANKFUL attitude from every volunteer and participant who attended

BTW, one of our very own BR members (Ron DeFrietas - Rondef) is the Executive Director and the one who started the foundation with his own time and money... Thankyou Ron!

It was a fantastic tournament, and I am glad I was able to be there again this year, and thankful to be a part of the foundation that made it happen. A special thank you to all of our wonderful sponsors and volunteers, without whome, none of it would be possible.
